Using FeedBurner
FeedBurner is the leading provider of media distribution and audienceengagementservices for blogs and RSS feeds. Our Web-based tools help bloggers, podcasters and commercial publishers promote, deliver and profit from their content on the Web.FeedBurner also offers the largest feed and blog advertising network that brings together an unprecedented caliber of content aggregated from the world’s most recognized media companies (e.g. Wall Street Journal Online, Wired News, Ziff Davis), A-list bloggers and blog networks and individual publishers from around the world.
Thus Feedburner is an excellent way to promote and monitor you blogs. This service is free and comes with Typepad support and instructions. You can keep track of the traffic and even discover who has subscribed to your blogs. First you must register to use this service. http://www.feedburner.com
You will have to create a user name and password. I used my badge ID to make it unique and then any password will do. You will also need a web address.
Once this is complete you can create a feed to your blog.
You can follow the instructions on Typepad users or go to Why Burn? In the middle of the page and View a video of the process. You do not have to buy anything in order to use the basic service. Check out my feeds: http://feeds2.feedburner.com/twinclick
